The truth is, tracking is possible, and the first signs usually show up in your phone’s behavior. Here’s how to tell if someone might be monitoring your device:

1. Battery Life

Monitor how long your battery lasts.If your phone drains unusually fast, check your battery usage report to see which apps are consuming the most power. If an app you don’t recognize is using excessive battery, that’s a red flag — ask yourself why it’s there.

11. Unsecured Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi isn’t always safe. When you connect to untrusted networks, your phone automatically sends and receives data — even when you’re not actively using it. Stick to secure or private connections whenever possible.

12. Overheating

If your phone overheats while idle or in your pocket, it might be running hidden processes. This can be caused by malware, spyware, or viruses constantly sending or receiving data in the background. Run a full security scan immediately.
